The training session included a total of 16 participants, all of whom were eager to learn and raise awareness about menstruation health in their communities. 

Event purpose

The Menstrual Educators Training aimed to educate trainees on the menstrual cycle, options for managing it, and accessible products. The seminar aimed to provide participants with the tools and knowledge they needed to lead workshops and educational sessions, hence raising awareness of menstruation health. The session addressed a wide range of topics, such as the biological and physiological elements of menstruation, as well as the best practices for menstrual cleanliness. A review of the many period products available, including sanitary pads, tampons, and menstrual cups, as well as tips on how to use them properly. Strategies for addressing common myths and misconceptions regarding menstruation to eliminate stigma and foster open dialogue. 

Interactive Sessions:

The program embraced interactive sessions with talks and exercises to enhance participants' understanding of menstrual health. These exercises helped participants learn how to successfully communicate the importance of menstrual hygiene and provide support in their communities. Attendees left the session feeling well-prepared to arrange their workshops, give accurate information, and create safe spaces for discussions about menstruation. 

Conclusion:

The Menstrual Educators Training was more than just an instructional initiative; it was a crucial step toward empowering people to become advocates for menstruation health in their own communities. The Pinkishe Foundation's program not only delivered knowledge, but also inspired participants to take an active role in breaking the silence and removing the stigma around menstruation. This event made a significant contribution to the ongoing efforts to raise menstrual health awareness and education throughout the region.
