The primary goal of the event was to raise awareness about menstruation and its associated challenges within the workplace. Cars24, recognizing the importance of understanding and supporting all employees, partnered with Pinkishe Foundation to break the silence surrounding periods and combat the stigma often associated with menstrual health. The event provided crucial information on menstrual health, emphasized the need for empathy, and highlighted the importance of period leave. It aimed to sensitize employees and develop a sympathetic attitude towards their female colleagues.
A standout feature of the event was the installation of a menstrual cramp simulator. This innovative tool allowed male participants to experience the physical discomfort associated with menstruation, promoting empathy, and understanding. The experience led to greater appreciation among male employees for the challenges faced by their female colleagues. The event successfully engaged between 50 and 70 employees, including the CEO of Cars24, who praised and saluted the women for their resilience and ability to manage menstrual discomfort while maintaining their professional responsibilities.
The collaboration between Pinkishe Foundation and Cars24 marked a significant step towards enhancing workplace equality and supporting employee well-being. By facilitating open dialogue about menstrual health and fostering empathy, the event contributed to creating a more inclusive and supportive work environment.
