Pinkishe Foundation

When someone we love is gone, we look for ways to keep their name close. In many Indian homes, that has always meant daan: food for someone hungry, fees for a student, something given in their name on the day we remember them.
Many families now mark a shraddh, a barsi or a punyatithi with a donation that helps someone they will never meet. Whatever your faith or custom, you are welcome to donate in memory of someone you love. If the person you lost was a mother, a grandmother or a teacher who looked after others, a donation in her name for girls and women can feel right. It does for many of our donors.
₹1,100 covers one girl's menstrual protection, education and support for a year. The support is our menstrual helpline, free and confidential, which answers at any hour on 85888 70999.
Since 2017, we have given over 77 lakh free sanitary pads to girls and women across India (as of 30 September 2026).
Our donation window has no box for a dedication. So, after you donate:
We will write to the family if you ask us to. If several of you donate in the same name, we can tell you the total of the donations you have told us about. We keep these names only for this, and we never publish them.
Pinkishe Foundation is a non-profit working on menstrual health since 2017. We work in schools and communities across India, so every girl and woman can manage her period with dignity. We are rated five stars on Google by over 2,400 people.
