In our accounts, all donations to every need form one project, Fund a need. We buy pads, kits and machines in bulk for all the needs together, which keeps costs low. Each need shows where the work is happening and how far it has got.
Your donation goes to the need you choose. If that need is not fully funded by its closing date, we will first extend the date. If that is not enough, we will carry out part of the work where that still helps, or use your donation for another need in Fund a need. Every donation stays within our menstrual health work, money never goes to the person who suggested the community, and we will share an update on how the funds were utilised.
Ketto, our donation platform, charges no platform fee. The payment gateway charges a small fee. In the Ketto window you can choose to cover it, so your full donation reaches the work. It is ticked for you, and you can untick it.
Choose Giving from abroad on the need’s page and give through Ketto in your own currency. Indian law asks for your full address and nationality. Your passport number is optional. Exchange rates and bank charges apply. Anything left over after a need is met is used for our other projects or for Pinkishe’s day-to-day running and administration.
