We recently received a heartfelt request from Neha, a student from Kodaikanal International School, highlighted the urgent needs of CMS Orphanage in Kodaikanal. The orphanage, serving children in a region with chilly weather, was in critical need of basic items and blankets. Moved by their situation, we decided to focus our efforts on providing blankets to ensure a cozy and comfortable environment for the children.
In response to the urgent needs highlighted by Neha, PunyaKalash, an initiative of Pinkishe, reached a significant milestone. We delivered a substantial supply of blankets and various essential accessories to CMS Children’s Home,which houses a total of 37 girls.Our primary aim was to ensure that the children stay warm and comfortable despite the cold conditions in Kodaikanal. Our efforts addressed critical needs and made a meaningful difference in the lives of these children.The children there often struggle with inadequate basic necessities, making our contribution especially impactful. We are deeply honored to have had the opportunity to support these children and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
This act of generosity underscores the initiative’s commitment to providing essential support and comfort to those in need, reflecting the collective effort and compassion of its contributors.

A total of 27 beneficiaries, aged 12-13 years, participated in this impactful session.
