In a collaborative effort, we hosted a significant event on July 25, 2024, at Tara Organisation in Hauz Khas, South Delhi, dedicated to enhancing menstrual health and hygiene education. Supported by Net Impact Delhi University, this initiative brought together 50 girls for in-depth discussions on menstrual hygiene, feminine care, and women's health. The event provided crucial education on managing menstrual health and included the distribution of free sanitary pads to address period poverty, ensuring that menstrual hygiene products were accessible to those in need.

Promoting Women's Health and Empowerment

The event marked a significant effort in advancing women's empowerment by tackling period poverty and providing vital menstrual products. Attendees gained valuable knowledge about menstrual health and overall feminine care.

This initiative raised awareness about women's health issues and supported community health through dedicated advocacy and menstrual education.

Enhancing Engagement Through Interactive Q&A

The Q&A session played an important role in this event, offering a platform for deeper engagement and personalized understanding. Many girls had various queries about menstrual health and hygiene, and this interactive component was crucial in addressing their specific questions and concerns. By providing clear and detailed answers, the session enriched the educational experience and reinforced the event’s commitment to making a positive social impact and advancing women's health education.

Supporting Social Welfare and Community Outreach

More than just a menstrual educational workshop, the camp represented a meaningful contribution to social welfare and community outreach. By combining health education with the distribution of period products, Pinkishe and Net Impact Delhi University made substantial progress in menstrual health advocacy. The initiative underscored our commitment to improving menstrual health management and enhancing women's well-being through direct support and menstrual education efforts.
