On 18th December 2024, Pinkishe Foundation will host an informative menstrual health and hygiene literacy session at the Government Girls Inter College in Kaladhungi, District Nainital. This session will be organized by Upasana, a dedicated volunteer of Pinkishe Foundation. The event aims to educate young girls about menstrual hygiene, menstrual health, and the importance of maintaining proper hygiene during menstruation.
During this session, attendees will gain valuable knowledge about menstrual health, including practical tips for maintaining hygiene, managing menstrual discomfort, and understanding the menstrual cycle. Pinkishe Foundation is committed to breaking the taboos surrounding menstruation and providing accurate information to ensure better health outcomes for girls and women.

As part of this initiative, free sanitary pads will be distributed to the participants after the session. This ensures that girls and women who may have limited access to sanitary products receive the support they need to manage their menstrual health with dignity and comfort.
This event is an essential part of Pinkishe Foundation's efforts to eliminate the stigma surrounding menstruation and create an open space for discussions. By promoting menstrual health awareness and providing necessary products, Pinkishe Foundation continues to work towards a healthier and more informed society.
We encourage all girls and women in the area to attend this valuable session. By participating, you will gain essential knowledge about menstrual health, and also receive sanitary pads to ensure better hygiene practices. Together, let’s work towards a stigma-free environment and empower more women with the knowledge they need for a healthier life.
