On April 7, 2025, Digital Saathi Foundation, with the support of Pinkishe Foundation, organized a Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education session and Free Sanitary Pad Distribution in Salaiyadih, Chopan, Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. This event aimed to educate local women and girls on proper menstrual health and hygiene practices while distributing essential sanitary pads to support their health and well-being.

Empowering Communities: Education on Menstrual Health and Hygiene

The session, conducted by Digital Saathi Foundation, focused on providing crucial information about menstrual health, hygiene practices, and the importance of using sanitary products for better health management. The aim was to demystify menstrual health, provide practical advice, and encourage open discussions to break societal taboos surrounding menstruation.

Essential Support: Free Sanitary Pads for All Participants

As part of the initiative, free sanitary pads were distributed to all participants, ensuring they had access to necessary hygiene products. This distribution is an essential step in promoting menstrual health, addressing the lack of access to menstrual products in underserved communities, and contributing to the overall health and dignity of women and girls.
