A Landmark Moment in Our Menstrual Health Journey

Pinkishe Foundation proudly marks a new milestone with the launch of Phase 3 of Project Udaan, in collaboration with the Flipkart Foundation. This new phase extends the project’s reach to Ahmedabad in Gujarat and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to benefit over 1600 adolescent school girls. With a focus on sustainable menstrual practices and education, this initiative strengthens our vision of ensuring menstrual dignity for every girl.

Strategic Expansion Rooted in Data and Local Engagement

The selection of Ahmedabad and Varanasi stems from focused groundwork and ongoing collaboration with local institutions. To measure real-time impact and ensure evidence-based implementation, baseline, and end-line surveys will be conducted across the selected locations. These assessments will help monitor key behavioral and educational outcomes, guiding future program interventions with greater accuracy.

Promoting Reusable Cloth Pads for Sustainable Menstrual Care

A core component of Phase 3 is the distribution of reusable cloth sanitary pads to adolescent girls. These pads are safe, long-lasting, and eco-conscious alternatives to disposable products. By introducing sustainable solutions at the school level, Project Udaan promotes responsible menstrual hygiene while also reducing the environmental burden of single-use plastics.

Menstrual Health Education Through Interactive Sessions

In addition to distributing menstrual products, the program includes interactive menstrual hygiene awareness sessions delivered by trained educators. These sessions are designed to improve understanding of menstrual cycles, hygiene practices, and physical well-being. The educational component ensures that every girl not only receives a product but also gains the confidence and knowledge to manage her period with dignity.

Flipkart Foundation’s Continued Support in Empowering Girls

The continued collaboration with Flipkart Foundation remains integral to the success and scale of Project Udaan. Their commitment to empowering adolescent girls and strengthening community-led impact aligns seamlessly with Pinkishe Foundation’s vision. Together, we are creating meaningful change at the grassroots level by combining access, education, and sustainability.

Moving Forward with Purpose and Measurable Impact

The third phase of Project Udaan is not just an expansion—it is a reflection of purpose-driven growth rooted in impact, research, and long-term community investment. With every girl we reach, we move closer to a future where menstrual health is prioritized, conversations are normalized, and sustainable choices are accessible to all.
